Just enough cookies to work.
We use the smallest possible number of cookies to run the service. No advertising trackers. No cross-site profiling. No cookie banner theatre.
What are cookies?
A refresher for the people who haven't read a cookie policy this year.
Small text files
Cookies are tiny text files that a website asks your browser to store, so it can remember something about you between visits.
Two flavours
First-party cookies come from Ciralgo itself. Third-party cookies come from other services embedded on our pages. We do not use the second kind.
Two lifetimes
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
You are in control
You can block or delete any cookie at any time in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies means you cannot stay signed in.
The cookies we set.
A short and specific list. Every cookie serves a purpose.
ciralgo_session
Keeps you signed in while you use the service. Without this cookie, you would have to sign in on every page.
ciralgo_prefs
Remembers your interface preferences (theme, sidebar state, and other small UI choices).
Analytics (Plausible)
We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics from Plausible. There is no persistent cookie and no personal data collected.
What we deliberately do not use.
Some cookies are so common that people expect them. We do not use these on purpose.
Managing your cookies.
You are always in control. Here is where the switches live.
-
In your browser. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge all have cookie controls in their settings.
-
Do Not Track. If your browser sends a DNT signal, our analytics respects it.
-
Ad blockers. They will not break our site, because we do not run any ads.
We are happy to explain.
If anything on this page is unclear, get in touch and we will make it plainer.
